Biography
Alexandra is a London based sculptor whose recent work centres on clay forms of partially deflated balloons. Inspired by conversations around existence, these sculptures are a meditation on contradiction.
Prior to working in sculpture, Alexandra’s practice has also focused on oil painting, focusing on the fleeting nature of light and form. Her paintings seeked to preserve the way light interacts with objects, evoking a sense of warmth, nostalgia, and movement.
