The warm glow of a sunny afternoon light has always evoked a sense of nostalgia for me, something I sought to capture in this series. I was inspired by old photographs from my childhood, playing in the garden for hours on end.

The rusty and flaking old table and chairs were a substantial part of many hectic games my sister and I created as a child, a silent witness to our chaos.

Although I can still hear the echoes of our boisterous noises from those memories, internally I feel an immense sense of peace and stillness when I think back to those moments, a quiet calm that feels rare in adulthood.
